Our beginning.
Hi, I'm Victoria - the parent behind Playful Comforts.
I'm a little camera shy, so you might not see me front and centre too often - but I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
I'm raising my two little ones here in Auckland, building this little brand slowly around family life.
When my son was tiny, I started learning how important movement and play are for infant development. I began noticing the way clothing could either support them, or hold them back.
Watching him try to roll in a pair of beautiful linen trousers that wouldn't move with him changed the way I thought about dressing, and what parents and little ones truly need.
I wanted something simpler.
And slowly, Playful Comforts began to take shape.
Soft, intentional pieces that don't get in the way of play, don't add to the mental load, and quietly make everyday life feel a little lighter.
